Pella will have a new police chief next month.  Shane McSheehy was hired last week to succeed Chief Robert Bokinsky, who stepped down earlier this spring.  McSheehy recently retired after nearly 24 years with the Eustis, Florida Police Department.  He’ll start his new duties in Pella on July 27.
