William Penn Again 12th in Second Rating

A pair The Statesmen football team held its ranking from last week as the NAIA released its second top-25 poll Monday.

Although WPU (3-1) is still #12, it gained eight points to have 191 points. Six Heart of America Athletic Conference programs continue to be ranked with#3 Baker leading the way.

With Marian (Ind.) falling to Robert Morris (Ill.) last Saturday, the new #1 is Morningside with 340 points and all 15 first-place votes. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), Baker, Southern Oregon, and Faulkner (Ala.) (SOU and FU are tied for fifth) round out the top five.

William Penn travels to Springfield, Mo. Saturday to face Evangel in a Heart North-South Crossover game at 6 p.m.
