William Penn University is adding another sport.  Starting next winter, the Statesmen will have a women’s wrestling team.  William Penn athletic director Nik Rule says the “current status of women’s wrestling fits perfectly with William Penn as we continue to develop an athletic program that is ready for the future.”  Women’s wrestling joins men’s volleyball, men’s and women’s lacrosse and men’s and women’s shooting sports as recent additions to the Statesmen athletic program.
