Mary Street Closure in Ottumwa

Motorists are advised that Mary Street at the intersection of Sheridan Avenue in Ottumwa will be temporarily closing starting Tuesday, March 27. The closure is in association with the Sheridan Avenue Reconstruction project and will allow for the installation of a new water main. During this work, Mary Street will be narrowed to one lane of traffic, with intermittent complete closures. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes around the work zone. With favorable weather conditions, the temporary lane restrictions and closures are anticipated through the end of next week.

Fourth Street Temporarily Closed in Ottumwa

Ottumwa motorists are advised that Fourth Street (between Birch Street and Blake’s Street), will be closed starting Wednesday, March 21, 2018. The street closure will allow for necessary repair work on a sewer line. During the repair, both lanes of traffic will be closed. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes. With favorable weather conditions, the repair is anticipated to take 1 week.

Ottumwa Road Closure

Motorists are advised that Minneopa Street (between Albia Road and Richmond Avenue in Ottumwa) will be closed starting Monday, March 19, 2018. The street closure will allow for the repair of a private utility service. During the repair, both lanes of traffic will be closed. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes around the work zone. With favorable weather conditions, the repair is anticipated to take 1 week.
