NEW SHARON — An event that has become a staple for North Mahaska students, staff and patrons, returns Feb. 24.

The junior class after prom committee is hosting blind volleyball beginning at 6 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

Twelve teams will vie for the title as champion of the event. Each team may have up to eight members of equal gender. Entry fee is $80 per team with the winner taking home $160.

All proceeds assist the committee in providing a safe after prom event of fun, food and excitement.

There will be a $2 admission charge for those in kindergarten and up. Concessions, consisting of walking tacos, beef burgers, hot dogs, chips, candy and drinks will be available for purchase.

Doors will open at 5 p.m.
