NAOMI JUDD'S AUTOPSY CONFIRMS DEATH BY SUICIDE

Naomi Judd’s Autopsy Confirms Death By Suicide

The official report on Naomi Judd’s cause of death has been released. The autopsy report, released Friday, confirms what the family has hinted at: she committed suicide. The docs show the Judd’s matriarch shot herself. It happened a day before the group’s induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

In a statement to the Associated Press, the family shared “We have always shared openly both the joys of being family as well as its sorrows, too. One part of our story is that our matriarch was dogged by an unfair foe. She was treated for PTSD and bipolar disorder, to which millions of Americans can relate.”

The report also found medication in Naomi’s system consistent with PTSD and bipolar treatment.

If you or someone you know is considering suicide, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988, text “STRENGTH” to the Crisis Text Line at 741741 or go to 988lifeline.org.
