The latest season of Netflix’s “Cobra Kai” recently debuted, and it features a cameo by Carrie Underwood. Carrie, a fan of the series, appears in episode nine, performing during the 51st annual All-Valley Karate Championship.
“I grew up watching Daniel and Johnny, and I can’t believe I actually get to be a small part of the legacy that is ‘The Karate Kid,'” she shared in a statement. “Once I discovered ‘Cobra Kai’ a few years ago, it became one of my favorite shows!”
She added, “I had so much fun being on the set and singing such a classic song,” noting, “I cannot wait to watch every new episode!”
As for what she sings, Carrie performs a cover of “The Moment of Truth,” originated by Survivor for the “Karate Kid” soundtrack in 1984.
