A man from Newton is dead after a weekend car accident in Jasper County.  The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office says just before 1am Sunday (4/11), it received a call about an accident in the 2400 block of West 4^th Street South, just south of Newton.  Law enforcement found a vehicle that had rolled over.  The driver, 36-year-old Lance Richardson, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The accident is still under investigation.
