Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin took their 2020 Airstream Globetrotter on a road trip, but the end of the trip did not go off without a hitch.

“Unfortunately on the way home going through ATL, a driver in a small car w/ temp plates was driving erratically & tried to squeeze between us & a semi truck going 70 on I-20W,” Miranda shared on social media. “It hit the airstream & sent us into the left lane.”

She said their vehicle “fishtailed pretty good,” but luckily “nobody was hurt.” Unfortunately “nobody stopped either and the car sped away.”

Miranda expects the airstream to be repaired soon so they can be “back to our vagabond ways.” And the accident didn’t damper her experience, with Miranda sharing, “overall it was an amazing trip and we learned we have a lot to see and a lot to be grateful for.”
