Iowa State Senator Ken Rozenboom says he’s going to run for re-election. During Saturday’s (2/08) Eggs and Issues event in Oskaloosa, Rozenboom explained why he’s running for a third term.
“The simple conclusion was I’m doing what I believe I’m supposed to be doing right now. I have eight years experience. I have a passion for the State of Iowa. The experience helps me work relationships with people on both sides of the aisle and with the Governor, with the House. So I feel like I’m in a good position to represent Senate District 40 for four more years.”
So far Rozenboom, a Republican, has one announced challenger: Democrat Lance Roorda of Leighton.
