RASCAL FLATTS CALLING IT QUITS, ANNOUNCES “FAREWELL” TOUR

Rascal Flatts Calling It Quits, Announces “Farewell” Tour

Rascal Flatts are calling it quits after 20 years together, but not before getting a chance to say goodbye to their fans on the road. The band announced on “CBS This Morning” they’ll be hitting the road this summer for the year-long “Farewell: Life is a Highway Tour.”

“We’re really looking forward to getting to spend this entire year loving on our fans, and thanking them for allowing us to have the most amazing career over the last 20 years,” Jay DeMarcus shares. “There is no sadness here, just new chapters, new journeys, and new beginnings. Rascal Flatts’ music will live on forever, because of our fans, and this year is all about them!”

Gary Levox adds, “When we started out 20 years ago, we could not imagine all of the people, places and gifts we would encounter,” adding, “I don’t know what God has in store for the future, but I am excited to see what He has planned!”

As for that future, Jay DeMarcus offers, “We make music and that’s what we do. We may do it again someday collectively.” He notes, “We’re not going to sign some pact that says we’re never going to tour again … we all still do love each other, but we do make music and we will probably make some music individually, collectively.”
