On this day in 1991, Garth Brooks’ Ropin’ The Wind was released and featured the hits “Shameless” and “Rodeo.” Ropin’ The Wind was Brooks first studio album to debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and Top Country Album Charts. The album was eventually certified 14X Platinum by the RIAA in 1998.
