Josh Turner’s tour bus was involved in a deadly crash yesterday morning San Luis Obispo County, California., which left one person dead and seven injured.

While Josh wasn’t on the bus, it was carrying members of his road crew, and the news obviously has hit him hard. In fact, following the accident he has now canceled his concert tonight at the Central Washington State Fair in Yakima

“Josh Turner and his road family have suffered a devastating loss,” the singer’s rep said in a statement. “Please keep the crew, band and Josh in your thoughts and prayers.”

The person who died, who has now been identified as David Turner, along with one other person got ejected from the bus when it plunged down an embankment. Two of the injured were airlifted out with major injuries and the other five passengers had moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
