The Iowa girls’ high school softball playoffs resume Wednesday night (7/10).  In Class 1A Region 5, Montezuma is at Sigourney—we’ll have that game on KMZN AM & FM with coverage starting at 6:45 and Erick Zamora’s play-by-play at 7.  Also in 1A Region 5, North Mahaska hosts New London, Lone Tree at Lynnville-Sully and BGM at Winfield-Mount Union.  In 1A Region 4, Twin Cedars hosts Baxter and Moravia at Melcher-Dallas.  In Class 2A Region 2, Pella Christian travels to Pleasantville.  Class 2A Region 8, Pekin at Wilton and Cardinal at Wapello.  The Class 3A playoffs begin tonight in Region 3 with Chariton at EBF and PCM at Centerville.  And in 3A Region 8, Albia hosts Saydel.

Oskaloosa opens the Class 4A Region 1 playoffs Thursday night (7/11) when the Indians host Grinnell.  We’ll have that game on KBOE-FM and the No Coast Network with the first pitch at 7:00.
