LAKE RED ROCK ICE CONDITIONS ARE UNSTABLE

Lake Red Rock ice conditions are unstable

If you’re thinking about going on to the ice on Lake Red Rock, don’t.  The US Army Corps of Engineers says ice has begun to form on the shoreline and bays around the lake—but ice conditions are unstable because of dropping water levels.  Receding water levels can cause ice conditions to change quickly and the thickness of the ice can vary within short distances.  So the Corps recommends staying off the ice on Lake Red Rock.
