A man from Leighton was killed Sunday afternoon (12/9) in a hunting accident near Lake Red Rock.  The Iowa DNR and Marion County Sheriff’s Office say 23-year-old Blake Schroder of Leighton was hit by a round fired by a member of his hunting party at Robert’s Creek Park on the north side of Lake Red Rock.  The accident happened around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
