OSKALOOSA READY FOR SECOND STAGE OF REVITALIZATION

Oskaloosa ready for second stage of revitalization

Oskaloosa city planners are ready for the second stage of their downtown facade revitalization program.  This phase will cover businesses on the west side of Oskaloosa’s downtown square.  Architect Tyler Baumgarten with Curtis Architecture in Ottumwa talks about the construction timeline.

“Construction starting in the spring of ’19.  With this size a project, we would like to see it done by this time next year. Weather definitely plays a major factor in that.”
A $450,000 Community Development Block Grant will be used to help pay for the renovations.
