OSKALOOSA SOFTBALL BEATS GRAND VIEW CHRISTIAN, REMAINS UNDEFEATED

Oskaloosa Softball Beats Grand View Christian, Remains Undefeated

The Oskaloosa softball team was in action last night against Class 1A Grand View Christian and took care of business, getting the big win 12-0 in only three innings of play.

Oskaloosa’s offense scored only two runs in the first two innings, but blasted 10 runs in the third to get to the run rule threshold. Aubrey Miller led the Indians with four RBI, including a walk-off three run double to end the game.

The Oskaloosa softball team is 5-0 to start the season and have outscored their opponents 41-0. They have also stolen 23 bases in five games and have yet to commit a defensive error.

The schedule will stiffen up this week, however, with Centerville coming to town on Thursday and Pella Christian kicking off the conference season on Friday.
